Every organisation with 10+ employees must have an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) under POSH Act 2013. Complaints must be filed with ICC and resolved within 90 days. External complaints go to Local Complaints Committee (LCC).

File written complaint with ICC

  • Submit written complaint to Internal Complaints Committee within 3 months of incident
  • Describe events factually with dates and any witnesses
  • Request interim protection (transfer / leave) while inquiry is ongoing

If company has no ICC or ICC is inactive

  • File complaint with Local Complaints Committee through District Collector's office
  • Or file directly on SHe-Box portal (shebox.nic.in)
